380ml Super Flint Glass Honey Glass Jar With Dipper for a Panama Customer

The customer is a honey producer from Panama, focusing on the premium honey market and looking for packaging that could reflect the quality and value of their product. The initial inquiry was submitted through our official website, where the customer requested quotations for 200ml and 500ml hexagon honey glass jars, along with shipping costs to Panama.

After we introduced a range of honey packaging solutions, including different shapes, capacities, and closure options, the customer showed strong interest in our 380ml diamond honey glass jar. The unique geometric design and crystal clear glass jar appearance aligned well with the customer’s brand positioning in the high-end honey segment. Eventually, the customer decided to proceed with this model.

Challenges:

1. One of the main challenges in this project involved the closure system. The 380ml diamond honey glass jar is compatible with two types of caps: a push on cap with dipper and a screw on cap. At the early stage, the customer expressed a strong preference for bamboo-style lids to enhance the natural and premium image of their honey brand.

However, at that time, bamboo lids in our product range were only available in a push-on cap format. Therefore, when sending the first set of samples, we provided the glass jar paired with a bamboo push on cap. After receiving the samples, the customer was not fully satisfied, as their ideal solution was a screw on bamboo cap, which was unfortunately not available in our existing closure options.

Despite this limitation, the customer was impressed by the overall quality of the glass jar for honey, including its weight, clarity, and craftsmanship, and decided to continue working with us. To help the customer evaluate alternative solutions, we subsequently sent additional samples featuring a gold screw on cap together with the same honey glass jar. After testing and review, the customer confirmed the final combination of the clear glass jar and metal screw cap.

2. Another challenge arose during the labeling stage. The customer planned to apply labels on the jar body and asked whether we could supply blank labels in custom sizes. After several rounds of communication, we provided roll-form label samples in the requested dimensions. Unfortunately, upon receipt, the customer found the labels unsatisfactory, as they were not suitable for direct printing and the size still did not fully meet expectations.

Although these issues caused some inconvenience, our team remained proactive and solution-oriented. We provided clear explanations, technical support, and a compensation plan, which was ultimately accepted by the customer. Our professional service attitude and consistent product quality played a key role in maintaining the customer’s trust.

While the customer’s initial order volume was relatively small, communication has remained frequent and positive.
