500ml Sanitizer Glass Bottle with Pump for Bulgarian Customer

In December 2025, a Bulgarian winery contacted Newray through our website to order 3,000 glass bottles—each fitted with a pump dispenser—for their newly launched line of hand sanitizers. Given that their previous supplier had delivered shipments with a breakage rate exceeding 10%, the “reliability of outer packaging” became their primary consideration.

Building Trust Across Borders

They approached this project with considerable caution. Their focus was not on the price of the glass bottles, but rather on our ability to ensure a stable and consistent supply. The payment process also presented a challenge, as direct Euro transfers from Bulgaria to our Chinese bank account could not be processed smoothly. To address this, we introduced Alibaba’s “Trade Assurance” service as a secure and viable solution.

To assist them in their evaluation, we referred them to another Bulgarian client of ours for a direct conversation; we also provided copies of our business license and guided them on how to verify our credibility rating on the Alibaba platform. Their technical inquiries centered primarily on equipment compatibility; in response, we provided detailed product schematics as well as photographs of our actual production facilities.

Solving Packaging Challenges

Their greatest concern lay in the protective packaging for the glass bottles. They even proactively proposed a customized packaging solution—expressing their willingness to pay extra for it—in an effort to completely eliminate the breakage issues they had encountered in the past. After carefully analyzing the packaging method employed by their previous supplier—which relied solely on cardboard dividers that left sufficient internal clearance for the bottles to shift and rattle—we provided them with a detailed explanation of the root causes behind their previous breakage incidents.

For these glass bottles, we implemented a standard packaging protocol: we applied layer-by-layer heat-shrink wrapping to bind the bottles tightly together, forming a solid, cohesive unit. This was further reinforced with external protective measures, including strapping bands, edge protectors, and stretch film wrapping. This comprehensive solution not only eliminated internal voids within the packaging—thereby providing robust and reliable protection—but also did so without incurring additional costs or delaying the delivery schedule. Furthermore, to safeguard against potential damage caused by rough handling during transit, we committed to shipping two extra cartons of bottles as spare stock for the client.

The Final Outcome

Ultimately, they formally placed an order for 3,000 500ml glass hand sanitizer bottles, each fitted with a black pump dispenser. The client expressed great satisfaction with the solutions we provided to address their various concerns.

This case serves as a compelling testament to the principle that technical challenges require technical solutions, while commercial apprehensions must be dispelled through the cultivation of trust. By providing client references, effectively resolving payment and logistics hurdles, and thoroughly explaining our protective packaging protocols, we successfully transformed an initial inquiry—one originally fraught with caution and skepticism—into a pleasant and successful first-time collaboration.

The batch of glass hand sanitizer bottles was ultimately shipped without incident, following the application of our enhanced protective packaging measures. For a client who had previously suffered from frequent breakage of glass products, what we delivered was not merely intact merchandise, but a precious promise: that we are a reliable supplier who honors its word and delivers on its commitments.

Application

A sanitizer glass bottle is widely used for packaging alcohol-based hand sanitizers in premium, eco-conscious, and refillable formats. Unlike plastic, glass is chemically inert, ensuring no interaction with ethanol or active ingredients, thus preserving product stability and purity. It is ideal for hospitality, healthcare, and personal care brands seeking a high-end image. Glass bottles can support pump, spray, or flip-top closures, offering flexible dispensing options. Additionally, they are reusable and recyclable, aligning with sustainability goals. With customization options such as frosting, coating, and logo printing, glass sanitizer bottles enhance brand differentiation while maintaining functional reliability.
