In the wine and beverage market, a bottle is much more than a container. Its shape, surface and overall appearance can influence how consumers perceive the product before they even open it. A well-designed bottle of wine and glass can make a wine brand look more elegant, premium and memorable.
Recently, I received an inquiry from a customer who was looking for a 750ml glass wine bottle with a frosted finish. During our communication, the customer reviewed differen tbottle of wine glasses options and quickly became interested in one particular bottle shape. The silhouette matched the style they had in mind, but they wanted to explore how it would look with a frosted surface.
Rather than making the customer rely only on imagination, our sales Jeff shared photos of 750ml and other frosted glass bottles we had previously produced. These examples allowed the customer to see the actual frosting effect, surface texture and overall appearance of the finished bottles.
The response was very positive. After reviewing the previous frosted samples, the customer felt that the soft, matte appearance gave the bottle a more sophisticated and premium character. The frosting also created a clean visual effect while maintaining the elegant shape of the original bottle and glass wine.
With the bottle of wine glasses model confirmed, the project moved into the next stage: sample development.
We immediately arranged the frosted wine bottle wine glass sampling process. Our production team is currently working on the sample, with particular attention to achieving a consistent and attractive frosting effect across the bottle of wine glasses surface.
At present, the customized sample is still under production. Once the sample is completed, we will carefully check the bottle before arranging shipment to the customer. After receiving the physical sample, the customer will be able to evaluate the actual frosting effect, glass quality, surface appearance and overall packaging presentation.
If the sample meets their expectations, we will continue the discussion and move forward with the next stage of the project, including final specifications, quantity and mass production arrangements.
For us, this project is a reminder that packaging development does not always begin with a completely new bottle design. Sometimes, the right surface treatment can give an existing bottle a completely different personality. From selecting the bottle shape to reviewing previous frosting examples and developing a physical sample, every step helps reduce uncertainty and bring the customer’s idea closer to reality.
At Newray, we aim to provide more than standard glass bottles. We support customers throughout the development process and help transform packaging concepts into practical, market-ready solutions. We look forward to completing this sample, receiving the customer’s feedback and hopefully taking this 750ml frosted wine bottle project into mass production.
