Custom 250ml Stackable Square Marasca Glass Bottle with Color-Coated Bottle and Cap for UK Customer

1. Stackable Design Concept
The client wanted a stackable refillable olive oil bottle design that would help their product line stand out on the shelf. After several discussions with our design and engineering teams, we developed three different kitchen oil storage bottle concepts based on the standard 250ml Marasca square glass bottle.

The challenge was to create a special structure that would allow the bottles to be stacked securely. We designed a convex–concave feature in the center of the bottle body (below the neck area), so that multiple bottles could fit together perfectly. Through multiple rounds of communication between our technical drawing team and the factory production supervisor, we overcame the structural limitations of traditional bottle molds and confirmed the design’s feasibility.

2. Bottle and Cap Color Coating
In addition to the structural innovation, the client wanted to customize both the olive oil packaging bottle coating and the aluminum cap coating, in a total of 12 colors. Since there were three bottle designs, this meant a total of 36 different versions needed to be produced.

This requirement posed a high challenge for our production line, as it demanded not only precise color consistency and coating quality, but also efficient production planning. After careful discussion, we agreed on a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 5,000 pcs per color and 20,000 pcs per bottle design. These quantities ensured production efficiency while maintaining the client’s customization goals.
