Project Background and Development
At the beginning of our communication, the client did not have a clear idea about the exact type of glass bottle for oil storage they wanted to use. Through a series of detailed discussions and product comparisons, we helped them refine their requirements and ultimately confirmed that the ideal packaging would be a 30ml tubular glass oil bottle made of high borosilicate glass.

Because the client wanted to create packaging that was distinct and visually striking in the competitive olive oil sector, they requested not only customized glass bottle processing but also personalized packaging materials. Specifically, the bottle body required black external spraying with a white silk-screen printed logo, paired with custom-designed airplane boxes and color cartons.

Challenges and Solutions

1. Customized Air Express Box Design

One of the biggest challenges was the design of a special box for air express. The client wanted the opening side of the carton to feature a tear-off strip for easy consumer use. Our initial solution was to place the tear strip on the outer surface of the carton and apply a layer of double-sided adhesive on the inside. This way, after final packaging, the adhesive would secure the carton firmly, and consumers could simply pull the tear strip to open the product.

However, during the sampling stage, two issues arose: the tear strip was not easy to pull, and the double-sided adhesive sometimes lost its stickiness. To solve this, we adjusted the box structure by increasing the height on the tear-strip side to allow more space for easy tearing. We also upgraded to a higher-quality double-sided adhesive and replaced the tear strip with a custom-made easy-tear tape. These adjustments resolved the problem perfectly and provided an improved unboxing experience.

2. Leakage Prevention for the 30ml Round Olive Oil Bottle

Typically, small olive oil bottles in bulk are paired with an inner stopper or liner to prevent leakage. We presented three different closure solutions to the client. However, after testing, none of these matched their production equipment. Interestingly, instead of being dissatisfied, the client expressed high confidence in our bottle quality. They decided to handle the issue by sourcing stoppers and liners locally. This demonstrated that even though some accessories were not compatible, the core quality of our edible oil glass bottle was recognized and trusted by the client, allowing cooperation to move forward without interruption.

3. Small Quantity Order for 500ml Bottles

Apart from the 30ml custom olive oil bottles, the client also required 500ml olive oil bottles with the same black spray and white logo printing. The order quantity was relatively small—only 3,000 units. Despite the limited volume, we actively coordinated with production and completed the bulk order successfully. This flexibility and support strengthened our client relationship further.

Current Status

We remain in close and positive communication with the client. Recently, they shared a new project involving ceramic cups, and we are currently in discussions to help them source the right products. This shows that our cooperation is expanding beyond glass bottles, as the client now trusts us as a reliable partner for broader product procurement.
